Dr Amjad Hafizullah, graduated with his MBBS from Dhaka University, Bangladesh and once worked as a Deputy Chief Medical Officer for the Government of Bangladesh.
He completed further postgraduate education and training at the University of Auckland in New Zealand and at Monash University in Australia over the course of his career.
Over the past 35 years, he worked in many settings, including major hospitals and general practices in Bangladesh, New Zealand and Australia. For the past 25 years, he has been working in the New Zealand and Australian health care systems.
He is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners and a Member of the National Rural Faculty of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners.
He is patient-focused and experienced in many areas of health care, including Chronic Disease Management; Skin Disease Management; Emergency Medicine; Minor Surgeries; Mental Health Management; Men’s, Women’s and Children’s General Health Care; Geriatric Care.
Dr Amjad Hafizullah is multi-lingual and can communicate with patients in English, Bangla, Urdu and Hindi.
